Important Notice: Mandatory changes to your MYOB Portal login

We previously published an article on 2FA (two-factor authentication) for when you login to the MYOB Portal to electronically sign (‘Approve’) tax returns and other tax documents.
Over the past year it has been an optional security feature to help secure the sensitive data that is required to produce the work we do for you. The ATO has now enforced that it is mandatory for anyone that has access to this data to have the 2FA facility active.

The next time you login to our MYOB Portal to sign off (approve) on the documents we produce, you will be asked to setup 2FA, if you have not done so already. We recommend using the email verification method, as it is more reliable than the application (for the moment).  See the attached link below to illustrate the signing-in process with 2FA: http://help.myob.com/wiki/display/sec/Setting+up+two-factor+authentication

If you do come across any issues, please contact our office and we will do our best to rectify the situation.

For those clients who are not signing their tax documents digitally, and would like to, please contact our office or your client manager directly. We will happily assist you in moving forward with the technology available and get you set-up on the MYOB portal.

Also note if you have any issues logging into the portal, we may have your old email address. Please contact us to update the email.
