On September 3rd one of our dedicated staff members, Ash Bravington, will be climbing 28 floors, to raise funds for the Murdoch Childrens Research institute, as part of the Firefighters Charity Fund. As he is a volunteer CFA firefighter at Carrum Downs, he will be competing in full structural firefighter gear weighing 25kg – just to make it a little harder for himself. The Firefighters Charity Fund is aiming to raise $343,000 for the nominated charity this year, the significance of that figure is in honour of the number of fire fighters (343 in total) who perished in the twin towers disaster in America in 2001.
